Back on track

Hey everyone! I’m back from my blogger’s break and I’ve got a lot tell you guys!

First of all, what did I do in the last 2-3 months?
As I said before in my last post, I’ve decided to take a break from blogging to spend more time with my family and loved ones and to concentrate more on my studies. I had a great time with my family during the holidays, but my winter break was short due to a workshop I’ve attended. So technically I only had a week off instead of two.

January was such a busy month for me. Tons of projects and I had to study a lot for exams. I barely had time to study because of the huge amount of work that had to be done for several projects I’ve worked on. Sadly, I failed one exam and I had to postpone another exam and some projects because all the stress was such a weight on my shoulders. I barely slept, I ate less and didn’t take much care of my health which led me to fall asleep at times where I really needed to study or work. Now that most of the
projects and exams are done, I can finally enjoy my semester break before I start working on the next projects and study for the last exams.

I’ve also started a bullet journal in January and it calmed me down a bit whenever I needed a mental break from college. I’ll be posting every now and then about my experiences with my bullet journal, one of my upcoming posts will be about my first bullet journal and my expectations!

So now that you’ve caught up on what I’ve done since I was gone, you might think: “what are you going to do now?”

What’s coming next?
I’ve thought about the future of my blog and what I’ll be willing to do in the future. I’ve decided to change my posting schedule to a bi-weekly schedule since the next few semester will be even more stressful than the last. I really want to keep blogging but I don’t want to neglect my college and eventually fail. I’m striving for high-quality contents on my blog, which led me to my decision to change my schedule.
One positive aspect I’ve come up with is that I’d like to start blogging more lifestyle-related topics (i.e.: my bullet journal and the supplies I use). Currently, my interests have shifted but I’ll still be blogging about fashion and beauty related topics!

How did you guys spend your holidays? Did you start or learn something new? Tell me all about it in the comments or contact me by email or through social media!

  1. Its always nice to take a break can make you feel a little bit refreshed! even though you had a lot on over that time. I had to work through the holidays only had a few days off which my boyfriend and I spent visiting his family back in his hometown 🙂

    1. That’s great! It’s always important to spend time with friends and family especially during the holidays! I really noticed how relieved I was, not worrying about blog posts or planning anything else and concentrating on other important things in life
